Technical Expert - Urban Development
Brian is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Registered Engineer in Queensland with more than 35 years’ experience. He consults to Worsley Consulting Engineers on housing and urban development projects.
He has played a key role in the development of the subdivision standards, including previously re-writing the Brisbane City Council Subdivision and Development Guidelines and the preparation of Land Development Guidelines for the Gold Coast City Council.
Brian commenced his private practice in May 1994, establishing Bradlees Consulting, which later became Meinhardt Urban, a specialist land development engineering firm.
He has performed project director, engineering lead, independent certifier and expert witness roles on countless subdivision developments along the East Coast of Australia. He is called upon to testify in court on subdivision planning matters.
Brian has extensive experience in multi-discipline design coordination, civil design and documentation, subdivision design, and contract administration, including roles as superintendent and construction supervisor.
