Founded with purpose
At the origins of the consultancy is a response to one of the industry’s most pressing challenges of the 2020s: poor productivity growth.
Clients are feeling both the rising cost of capital and consultant fees. Consultants are facing tighter margins and the commoditisation of engineering. Founder David Worsley recognised this environment as an opportunity for an agile, innovative consultancy to do things differently.
David views Worsley Consulting Engineers as an opportunity to rethink the business model of engineering consulting. This rethink is focused on value creation and elevating engineers beyond what have become highly commoditised processes.
David is committed to using his position to advocate for the engineering industry and to see it more widely recognised for the critical contributions it makes to society. He recognises the vital role the profession plays in supporting society’s adaptation to climate change.
