Director

David is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 13 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors across social infrastructure, defence and transport infrastructure. Prior to founding the business David was a Technical Director of Meinhardt Group leading its Victorian Civil Engineering team.

David views Worsley Consulting Engineers as an opportunity to rethink the business model of engineering consulting. He is committed to using his position to advocate for the engineering industry and to see it more widely recognised for the critical contributions it makes to society. He recognises the vital role the profession plays in supporting society’s adaptation to climate change.

David’s breadth of experience enables him to understand project demands from both client and consultant perspectives, across all phases of the project lifecycle. He has led diverse multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from masterplanning to detailed design, and through to construction as superintendent.

He remains hands-on in the delivery of projects and previously served as the engineering lead for award-winning projects including the 2022 AILA Winner Hampshire Road Civic Green and the 2019 AILA Winner Malop Street Green Spine.
