Our story

A team, led by David, was lead engineering consultant for the greenfield expansion of the Emerald Cemetery precinct and provided services from stormwater concept strategy to tender documentation. David led the team, including April and Maria, to deliver civil, structural and infrastructure services. 

This technically challenging development is in highly forested land, on steep terrain, adjacent to Macclesfield Creek with cultural heritage, indigenous, bushfire, and vegetation overlays. The civil design emphasised a balance of cut and fill, and minimising imported fill, to achieve budget and reduce retaining wall heights.

The proposed development includes roadways and services infrastructure, shelter and retaining wall structures, stormwater management, and a variety of grave products. It is currently awaiting town planning approval prior to construction.
