Our story

Werribee Mercy Emergency Department Expansion

This was a $100 million redevelopment of David’s childhood health precinct. The project doubled the hospital’s emergency department capacity – supporting an additional 25,000 presentations per year. Works were staged with an early civil works package and main hospital build. Supporting architect Lyons, David oversaw detailed design completion and construction with Rick providing peer review.

Sunshine Hospital Emergency Department Expansion

The $35 million redevelopment expanded and refurbished the emergency department, adding 65 new spaces - more than doubling current capacity – with refurbishment of existing clinical areas, and a new three storey building to expand the existing emergency department. Under architect Silver Thomas Hanley, David led the civil engineering for the building stormwater drainage and new carparking.

Victorian Community Hospitals – Philip Island, Point Cook, Torquay, Pakenham, Eltham

In collaboration with architects HDR, David was responsible for the masterplanning and schematic design for five new community and local public hospitals for the Victorian Hospital Building Authority, as well as early works and detailed design of Philip Island.
